Lambton Public Health to Receive $284,100 in One-Time Funding

LAMBTON — The Ontario government is investing up to $60.09 million in one-time funding to support 29 Public Health Units across the province, helping strengthen local public health programs and services in the 2025–26 fiscal year.
As part of this investment, the Lambton Health Unit will receive $284,100 in one-time funding to support local public health initiatives and service delivery priorities that respond to community needs.
“This investment reflects our government’s commitment to protecting public health and ensuring Lambton communities have the resources to deliver essential services,” said Steve Pinsonneault, MPP for Lambton–Kent–Middlesex. “These systems are vital to keeping families safe, strengthening prevention, and responding to local needs.
“Our government recognizes the vital role that Public Health Units play in building healthier, more resilient communities,” said MPP Bob Bailey. “This one-time funding will help ensure frontline public health services remain strong and responsive to the needs of residents.”
The one-time funding is intended to support local priorities while reinforcing the province’s broader commitment to public health outcomes.
